Not sure if you fellow hunt talkers have seen this or not. On an unrelated note, I have really enjoyed all of yours posts and congrats too all of you who have been successful this season. Deer season starts tomorrow for my family with our youth hunt. Hopefully I'll post pics of smiling kids and have a full freezer.

That part of the state is crawling with big bears; not surprised by the size of that one.

I`ve hunted Hyde a lot, and have seen plenty of huge bears, but nothing close to that big. The crazy part is, this bear is still 100 lbs shy of the record bear, which was also killed in NC.
