My wife visited her father and she over heard him singing my praises to her nephew, 'oh yes Richard can turn his hand to anything' he apparently said and listed a few skills.
So when my wife came home and told me this i felt quite pleased with myself.
So i started to list them to her, ex telecomms specialist for 30 years, hunter, fisherman, fly fishing instructor/guide, electrician, plumber, car body repairer, father to our 2 kids and married to her for 30 years this September, i was feeling quite smug.
When i finished i looked her straight in the eye, 'have i missed anything?' she said 'just one thing, and sometimes a pain in the ass!'
What a great reply!
She does have a great sense of humour, i suppose she must have being married to me for so long!
