My first whitetail!

Living in Montana and having pretty much always hunted mule deer, I was finally able to specifically hunt and get my first whitetail. It was a long 6 days and a lot of miles walking, glassing, and frustrating moments, but it was a great trip and I am more than happy with this as my first whitetail buck! Hopefully many more to follow in the upcoming years.

Thanks! I think a bit, after looking at other pictures. To be honest I was so excited I didn't really notice in the field.

Very nice!! Hunting whitetails in country like that is on my short list. Just so very different than the country I hunt them in Indiana.
