I was able to watch a grizzly romp around for about 1 minute in south central Montana, the first time I have seen a grizzly outside of a national park in the lower 48. I was doing a quick drive thru on a ranch I hunt and was lucky enough to spot him before he saw me. I only had my phone camera, which wasn't effective. I was hoping to see him more, but he worked his way down into a draw where I was unable to view, and do to time constraints had to get back to town, It was about 5:30 in the afternoon and it didn't look like he was in a hurry to go anywhere. It was truly a moment I will remember for awhile....I saw three nice 6 point bulls together, but seeing the grizzly was really the highlight of my brief scouting time.

Sure beats a hen turkey with some young and a few whitetail!
Good day, for sure.

That sounds like a great evening scouting trip!! I just wish you had some photos

I did get the elk on video, but it was blowing about 30-40 mph and it is so shaky I had to go thru frames to see them, it was my first video attempt...LOL
