my bear

The bear I shot last spring has some unusual coloring (atleast for up here) and I had a hard time figuring out if I wanted a lifesize or a rug. Alot of nice lifesize forms out there but none just grabbed me.

Wifey had everything needed to do a rug so I went with it.

It was shot outside of Tok and not to many glacier bears are up there but thats what it looks like.

bluish/grey hair with black tips.

its not finished yet. still gotta paint the face and rug it + some other small details. the wifey says it will be on the wall by sunday PM.

He's a 6footer. wish I could make him stretch but I cant.

I will take any or all pictures I can, as I am putting together a Black Bear hunt of my own. I have gotten ahold of a New Mexico Biologist, who is excited about us coming out to hunt them. I just am trying to absorb everything I can before the hunt. I am pumped about the Hunt, as is my son. John
