Which states allow the use of in-lines for elk? I am planning a trip for next fall and could use this info. Thanks.

THANKS. I think a scope is a little more than needed, but it is nice to know all the options.

In lines and 209's are legal in CO. No scopes or sabots though. All the big elk live south of our borders fore the most part.

Another question on using in lines and 209.

Does Colorado differentiate between primative and muzzleloader seasons as to what type of weapon is or is not legal ?

One person I talked to at DOW stated that the use of 209's was a GREY AREA ?

I called Denver and talked to someone in Law Enforcement and they said they were legal.

Power belt bullets are legal also in Colorado.

Bullets have to be equal to or shorter than twice the caliber size , a .50 cal would have to be 1.00 in or less long, and be lead.

Any other tidbits of information available ?

Washington allows them,,But the caps have to be exposed to the weather...Then you need a lawyer to understand the rules, seasons, and areas
