MT archery elk - We're baaack!

It's a Randy classic animal. A freaky horned bull. Hopefully he posts some better ones than the one I got on my phone. It looks like the g2 or g3 is around 25 inches.

I want to come play. I have my pack all ready. Can I hitch a ride in with Zane the pilot

Congrats Big Fin. Will be one of the first things I look at in the morning.

Had plans for bed , but just put a pot of coffee on. congrats randy!

Don't hold your breath. The trend around here lately seems to be announce the kill, then saunter in a day or so later with pictures and story. I predict a 11pm quick update with 1 pic. And the full story late tomorrow morning.

Congrats Big Fin! Let's see Troy get on the board before the flight out!

Sorry guys no time for updates until I get home tomorrow. Too much meat to take care of, more TV in the morning, a camera guy whose back is out, and a long ride home. I can assure you that the story will be worth the wait.

The elk are now up on the public. Should make it better for those who are coming in the next week. Thanks to that ranch hand for gathering up those cows this morning and putting the elk in flight mode. If not for that, I think they would still be hanging out in the alfalfa.

Apologize for not being able to provide full details, but we have a ton of work ahead of us tomorrow.

Ha! Texas "frackers" don't have either sex tags :) But I imagine that outfitter is dogging a few bulls around down on the private.

I'm trying not to judge...hopefully some block management or access is granted in the following years. A guy can dream right :)

I'm in need of some horn porn real bad! Not even a sneak peek? Fly safe today. Awesome job pulling this off on the last day of your hunt. That place is no walk in the park.

I promise you will see them if it happens. I've hunted a whopping 2 days this year.

Hate to say I'm in the same boat.September has turned into a bread and butter month in construction, tough to turn away work when the winter is uncertain.

Well, then, we are tied at days in the field:)....................off to look for moose for the next three days so scratch those off the elk field days as well.

Good luck, look forward to pics....
