Move to Whitefish MT or Star Valley(area) WY?

Star Valley is awesome. I took a trip through there last summer. Loved it.

We are a ski racing family, and have great friends that built in WF 2 years ago now that have 2 kids in the Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation. You can't beat the program they have there or the training area and team facilities. Yeah, WF is full of Cali folks and a shit load of yuppy, but the skiing squanders all that in my opinion.

Lived in Star Valley mid 80s. There's lots of nice small towns all the way down the valley, which of course are further from Jackson. Real nice people. The Salt River Range to the E and the entire Grey's River drainage are a little paradise. Used to be over 100 mile long dirt road back there.

The road is there, if you can keep from getting run over by a UTV it’s a fun for drive by fishing hole hopping.
