I saw that he had stumbled across her kittens...I think he did pretty good other than turning his back on her...

When I first saw it I said drop her where she stands...and then found out about the kittens and changed my mind..looks to be more of a bluff charge but if she got any closer I would have had to shoot her.

Yes, he was trail running.

That's what he did at the very end, and the cat ran off after he did it. I would had a sizable rock in my hand from the get-go.

I believe reaching down to grab a rock may have been a bad idea, I could see her taking that as a threat and pouncing on that guy. I would rather stay standing and get a branch, at least that way you could theoretically stab the cat???
