I don't know why I bother..turkey egg O.

On the bright side Fish and Game have implemented some sizable changes this year for turkey hunting. Certainly more opportunity but it has me wondering if it is a good idea.Interesting to see harvest rates after a year goes by.Looking forward to the season, expecting to play catch-up from the last two years of not taking the normal amount of time off.Be alert for tics fellas..already picked a few from wandering around the Three Forks area.Curious on opinions with the new regs.Good luck to all.

I'm ready to go.

If I am reading the regs correct, It shows in my area 1 turkey instead of 2. I can still buy 1 off the shelf and dont have to apply.

Haven't seen any ticks in my area. Low last night was 16 degrees. High yesterday was 30. Brr

As I understand the regs, you can buy one general tag usable in all the general units, and then buy an individual tag for each individual unit(1,5,7).So that is four tags plus additional tags for hens in the fall.Too cold for ticks today.

I forgot to put in for a special draw so I'll be hunting one of the OTC areas. A buddy pulled a 399 gobbler permit so he's pumped he won't have to travel too far for at least 1 bird.
