Montana bull...all of 1.5 hours.

Well, hunting Montana earlier than normal and the first 1.5 hours paid off.

My families old hunting area that we've hunted since the 1950's. I hunted it for the first time in 1979.

Did wreck a good day of whitetail hunting.

What did he tape out at? 320"?

To BuzzH!

Congrats on another nice bull. Why do you have to brag, boost and gasconade about every elk you kill? Everyone knows you're an experienced elk magnet and an amazing hunter. It would be nice, for once, if you shared some of your hunting strategy and tactics to the less experienced elk hunters on this forum... not just photos and numbers.
Lol, talks about bragging (while misspelling boasting), then throws down the most obscure adjective to be found in the thesaurus regarding boasting... talk about pedantic :D

Congrats on the bull, very cool that you and your family have a long history of hunting the area.

Pedantic; a pedantic person is someone who is overly concerned with minor details, rules, or formalities, often to the point of being annoying or pretentious. They tend to correct small errors in an ostentatious display of their own knowledge, focusing on trivial aspects instead of the bigger picture. This behavior can come across as narrow-minded, schoolmasterly, and tiresome.

Whew....thank God i've been around @noharleyyet for over two decades...taught me to keep the thesaurus and spell check handy for those more erudite ;) than myself.
