I have been looking for shed for thirty five years and I bet I have heard this a hundred times. Someone will say "when you find a big shed do you start making circles to find the other side" I will answer no to there surprise. When looking for a match making circles is generally a waist of time. The other shed is in one of two places, where the buck has been or where he is going. If you find a big antler think about what the buck was doing, make your best guess on where the buck was going to and coming from and start looking in those two places first. You can always look at the rest of the aria later. Most big antlers are with in 300 yards.
