Lost our old pup today

Golden retriever, nearly 11 years old. Kodi Bear Ricketts. Never a hunting dog, but always a great family dog. He was amazing with my kiddos, probably because we had him first.



I always hate the long drive home, but getting this call tonight makes the next two days even harder.

Thanks everyone. It's been a tough day. I'm looking forward to being home tomorrow. I'm sure I'll be a mess for a couple days yet.

My wife has been amazing dealing with our three kids, Covid garbage (private school teacher, quarantined due to a kid testing positive, thankfully whole family negative), and now this. I love that woman.
