Hey all,

My wife and I are on a 3 month road trip through the west looking for a place to settle down. One thing on my must do list is a guided drift boat trip on the yellowstone or madison while we're in Bozeman.

Anyone have experience with guides in the area? I'd love some first hand feedback so I know it'll be a positive experience. Im an intermediate fly fisher and my wife is pretty new.

Thanks,
Pat

Would definitely second the recommendation for 4 rivers fly shop. Chris (who co-owns the shop with Seth) is the fishiest guy I have ever met. They guide on the Madison quite a bit and could probably be convinced to come fish the Yellowstone later on in the season.

Give Eric Adams at Montana Fly Fishing Guides in Livingston a call. https://www.montanaflyfishingguides.com/

They fish both rivers and have some of the best guides in the area. If you decide to keep heading east and fish the Bighorn, call the Bighorn Angler and ask for me to be your guide. :)
