My slow running computer took forever to join in progress. Dept of Interior sure covers a huge span of responsibilities/agencies. Thanks for the heads-up Ben.

As Secretary Salazar was speaking, that little voice in my head kept reminding me that as a politician/political appointee, he serves at the pleasure of the President, is speaking for the Dept and the President, and like most political figures finds it very hard and frustrating to speak the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth......but I didn't call him the "L" word!!

I missed it, unfortunately.

Salazar has been good, overall, for hunters and anglers, IMO. but yeah, he's a politician, and answers questions in a manner that makes you wonder if he ever said anything.

I listened for a while. He seems real knowledgeable about issues over a broad range of areas. He fielding questions from all over the US and he seemed to personally know each park or wild area from the states he was getting questions from. I remember some question on sage grouse and he didn't hesitate on that or any other question.

I always got the impression that he was out of touch or not even in the ball park with the issues but watching him changed my mind. I guess it could of been a good bluff.
