Several things bother me.

Start with hole spacing. Do not like the amount of mount real estate past the screws. I know it doesn’t matter but bugs me.

Never mind the screw heads not lining up, what really bugs me is the use of slot screws in a base.

The empty space (reading nook/kids' hangout/pantry/etc.) bothers me less than the giant return air grille on that tiny wall next to it, and the awful base to stair kick transition as well.

Same, first thing I noticed.

My eyes were drawn to that air return as well.....Then, I looked up at mine and realized that at least with that one that I don't have to climb up a 12-foot step ladder to change the filter every 3 months.........I dread that task, but it gives me a chance to dust the cobwebs off the animals.....



That was a foolish decision….

How come all the manholes in many city streets are lined up right in the path of tire travel rather than centered in the lane where you would straddle them?
And why are they always a little lower than the road surface creating a bump?
