Wow that's extremely depressing. If that doesn't already put things into perspective, 80% dead out of a herd of 30,000 leaves less than 6,000 left.

News to me that nonresidents are no longer applying for elk tags in Wyoming. Interesting.
 
I saw tons of winter kill in south east Idaho this year. Gonna be years to recover.
