Last minute CO preference point question ?

Sorry for the last minute pref pt question. Did Colorado change the mandatory application period from once every 3 yrs to once every 10 yrs? I have 15 pts but Ive settled on a tag that requires much less. So why waste the money of preference pts.

Yep, you don't lose your points unless you don't apply for 10 years.

If a resident, good strategy.

If a non-resident, you never know how a state will decide to screw you where you now need even more points. Your unit might go resident-only or RFW in a land swap and you need to find a new unit to target.

You know what you want to do but never hurts to have more points just in case you decide to hold on for a better unit.
