Well, after a long week of Hell on Earth in Disneyland with the family 
, I stopped over in Hillbillyville for the early muzzleloader weekend. Friend Flipper came up for same, and fun was had by all (as usual). To get the usual questions out of the way: no, I didn't get the truck stuck in the mud this time (I rode with Flipper
), and yes, much gore was slung...but I'll let Flipper tell that story.
Me, the long and short of it is that I leveled down on a nice fat old doe, took fine aim and chose just the perfect shot, sqeeeeeeezed the trigger on my elcheapo sidelock...and *snap*. Off goes the doe and so ends my ML season.
