Went and traded the Ford for the Tacoma @ my shop.
222,770 on it,2001 F150 offroad. Tune,oil, lube ,,,the usual plus get the windows working( I hate elec everything) and a new winch installed on the bumper. Alignment.
Tacoma got a do over. 333,660 1998
Tie rod ends, rack & pinion gears, tires. New front brakes, rotors, pads. Alignment, tune ,lube ,oil.
New tires. The Cooper sst maxx pros are not meant for hwy driving and the alignment did not help. Very uneven wear.
Milestar Patagonia AT's. Never heard of them. US made and look good...lol
Drives like new. Tight precise steering and good grip.
The engine just humms along, passing semi's @ 80+...original.
Hope the NM dirt/gravel roads don't eat the nice new tires. They feel good,for new.....
