Is your mall crawler ready to go?

Both my old trucks are down.
Took the Tacoma in for CV replacements, a year in to new ones... will have it dropped to 1inch in front and get new seatbelt in drivers side.
I wore the original out rubbing on my badge...LOL, frayed.

Ford needs a real check of the short in cab besides just tear it open and leave it. Have new GEM module which may or not be source.
Finding a decent mech. in NM is as hard to find as a DR.

Went by the shop yesterday to drop off the new seat belt for drivers side...wore mine out with a badge...
...saw my Tacoma with the front drive cv's laying there totally worn out in pieces...one year old.
The mech had my drivers side 5100 in the vice cranking down what looked like a used O'Really spring clamp........very shaky.
I just said "One inch" and he said he knew....I would not want my morning to start with a spring clamp...

Asked owner if he could hold on to the shafts, no they have core value.
I screwed up not keeping the original Toyota ones. Did not know the value.
A 300k mile original Tacoma part vs a 12k aftermarket model........gotta look for a original replacement.

Much better than the beer can skid plate that didn’t fare too well on rocks and washed out cattle guards.

I had the RCI black metal skid but switched to their raw/uncoated aluminum one. Last elk season with the aluminum on, hit a huge hole in a large mud puddle. Even at low speed, it got slightly bent with one side pushed up closer to frame. Still solid but looks off bubble so I try not to look at it
