Is your mall crawler ready to go?

Who knew there was cool stuff between MT and AZ. Thankfully running boards will be here Tuesday.

After the first 3k miles I am a fan. I do want to take a jig saw to the valance. :p

I liked the Black Appearance package, but didn't want the 20" wheels, ugly running boards and spraying bed liner. I toyed with Glacier Gray, but I think that was an additional $495. I do like the Carbonized color and no up charge.

Truck computer said I got 16.7 both ways from MT to Mesa, but I didn't check the numbers at the pump.

Impressive. I didn't go with the 3/4 mainly for fuel efficiency. Went with gmc 1500 instead. Got me questioning that now. I've had it for 3 days and knocked the new right off of it blazing trails today getting ready for firearm season. Did you get the bench seat or bucket seats?Screenshot_20251114_125716_Messages.jpg🙄

I like it. Jig saw'd the valence on my '17 while it was in place, no regrets there.

My 6.2 has never sniffed 14 mpg for a tank, much less 16.something.

Good to hear on the valance. Looks like a PITA to pull it off, so good to know you had no issues trimming it while mounted.

The truck had less than 100 miles when I hit the road, so no cruise control and low rpm's for my trip south. It will be interesting to see the mileage going forward. 7.3 gas

This one was a must, I went with bucket seats.

Better than I expected. Hope it holds for you.

That will likely be my next truck. Went from a diesel f350 to a half ton gasser. It's a good commuter, and probably better off-road, but I do miss the full size capabilities on occasion.

It's hard to pick one that does everything you need imo.

Just replaced spark plugs at 192k. I need to replace calipers and brake pads as soon as it warms up a bit. Then I need to do a little body work. IMG_3971.jpeg

I was able to bend it out some. I’ll work on it more and then sand it, paint it, and put some clear bra over it.

MTLabrador sold me his Bora spacers and I’ll be doing the big suspension upgrade sometime this summer.

Jason helped talk me into some new wheels that I’ll order soon, but probably will run the current tires down over the summer and put new ones on fresh for hunting season in the fall.

Going with 17s and probably 285/70/17 for tires with a little more offset for chains in the front without spacers.
