Those are to secure perpetual public access on timber company land in NW MT. Given the fact that a large chunk of former timber company land has been sold multiple times it’s a great idea to secure that access and tie it to the title regardless of who it may be sold to in the future.

I'm tired. It's never-ending. There are 30 ropes and 10 people pulling on them. Gets to the point a guy doesn't even have the time to enjoy what he's trying to protect. Doesn't have time for his family. We need more hands on the ropes. Time to prepare for another 9am meeting tomorrow...

the MT Great Outdoors Project (phase 2) is the second part of this easement that has around 85K acres total that would have permanent access and keep the lands working wildlife habitat. Great project. Phase 2 is about 50K acres in size.

Stafford Ferry is a great project. Glad to see it moving forward. We'll be at the commission meeting to support all of the easements, and the habitat leasing acreages as well.
