I had two days to hunt my favorite hunt in Idaho. The weather hadn't pushed many big bucks down but we were able to find a few.
This buck was a stud. He had very good mass and one of the coolest cheaters I have seen. One eye guard curved like an S. He was in an un-approachable area so I watched him from a distance. He had a huge 12" gash on his neck from what I'm guessing was from fighting. Not very wide but a very cool 6X4.

Some still pics through the spotter.
Nice little gash in his neck huh?
On the last day we headed to a different area and found a coule other nice bucks. The first buck on the video we were making a move on when other hunters, who knew we were going after him, thought it would be a good idea to run at the buck and push him out of the country. Typical general season hunts. We found the other buck a main frame 3 point with a kicker of his left G2 and a dropper off his right main beam. We were really close to having this guy in the back of the truck but he out smarted us.

Two guys in our hunting party were able to take two last day bucks within 20 minutes of each other. My buddy Dave and I were able to push these two bucks to within 20 yards of these guys. Two great shots and both died within 100 yards of each other.
A fun trip and I can't wait for next years hunt. One more late archery hunt and my season for Idaho will be over. Stay tuned.
