Idaho County offers gopher bounty

Bingham County offers a $1 bounty on gopher tails. Do they mean gophers, or ground squirrels, commonly called gophers?

These are pocket gophers, and most irrigation districts offer bounties on them. As do many farmers.

The guy that traps all the fields out by me has a pick up all set up for it, with an ATV behind... 100's of traps on the ATV.

I like the idea of a bounty given the cost of ammo these days.
