With just cash on hand we could go for probably a year fairly easily, so belt tightening. After that we would have to start tapping into assets and investments though.

It sure seems a lot harder to get some money put away then it is to spend money.

Comfortably 1 month and maybe up to three if we ate more wild game out of the freezer and the kids quit bleeding me dry.Hopefully that would be long enough to find a machinest job out west.Got over 20 plus years experience.

One year for sure. After that, we would be selling funds and real estate. Sometimes I wonder if we need one years worth, but I sleep better at night knowing we have a year.

Down to about 6 months now, purchased a new to me truck and it's a gas guzzler yeeha.

I had to wait on this until I recieved my tax refund and my latest bonus. Right now it would be six months with the cash we have saved. If I had to tap into retirement funds and sell my truck, we could go 18 months, Take Care, JLG.
