I bet when someone shoots one in self defense things will change. He knows this, and now leaves multiple aggressive Bull Angus on these parcels to discourage access. We'll after the legal mandate of them being off public.

Almost happened one morning as I had my daughters with me. Luckily backed out and nailed a 5x5 bull about an hour later.I bet when someone shoots one in self defense things will change.
Once again like whack-a-mole with the flagrant abuses of our public lands. I think, as a group, we need advocacy organizations (so support one or more) to take up these fights one by one. Leaving cattle on grazing leases after deadlines are up should be a pretty open and shut civil case, easy to document. It is their obligation and responsibility to get them off, least they can do for the privilege of grazing below cost.I bet when someone shoots one in self defense things will change.

since you come off as an on the spot badass, why didn't you just handle the situation right then and there vs. "cameras everywhere - ranch thugs coming soon" ???Ran in to a couple guys early this morning that were convinced there was an easement at a corner. I know the area and the laws. I said go ahead. Cameras everywhere you will have ranch company. mtmuley

I get the rugged individualism and all but I am continually surprised that western states law enforcement and/or the fed govt do seem so much weaker on some issues there than they do east of the Mississippi. Wide open spaces must dilute the ability to project power, and some lone individuals seem so much better at confounding the system whether its grazing, posting public, blocking roads, etc. The lawless west is definitely still kickin with these wannabe sovereign citizens. Just surprised the overwhelming majority of the normal western public land users accept it.Cliven Bundy enters the chat…
