Earlier this month, My 14 year old daughter had a chance to hunt blacktail deer in the rut during a Junior hunt on a piece of government property usually only accessible by boat. Through some acquaintances we were able to stay in a comfortable house just yards from the property boundary, along with 4 other junior hunters between the ages of 13 and 15.

Four of the Five kids got shooting at respectable bucks. Three bagged bucks and all kids had deer within shooting distance, although my daughter never felt comfortable with her shot and never pulled the trigger.

To say thank you to the gentleman who was our host, she laid out and woodburned the sign below. I thought the group here would appreciate it. She has hand eye control that astounds me.
