My old co workers hunting partner was dragged to a river up in northern B.C. where the old tootless bear tried to drown him............bear lost.

Bears Encounter 1960
Hiking with Dad and 3 brothers. I was age 9. We were in Tetons on mountain trail. Came to wooded area and saw in the woods less than 100 yards away mother bear and cubs. We stopped and my Dad took photos.
Unbelievable that my Dad did not have awareness of danger of the situation! Very Lucky!
