Reminds me of that scene in the "Jerk" when Steve Martin was walking out saying he didn't need anything. Then he starts picking up things one at a time saying "I need this. I don't need anything except this ash tray, this remote control, this lamp and, wait, I need this." Then he trades it all for a thermos.
