Moosie, You giving away a trip to LA? 24 geese a day? Where do I sign up? Heck I can't hit the six a day that fly into my set here. Why would I want to burn 8 boxes of shells for 24? I know. Cuz I love it! Hey; are you inviting Larry? I don't want to be paired with him.

Ohhhh man i could't tell you exactly. I have 9 bands if that gives you any kind of clue. I have also killed a banded turkey. I usually kill a limit of wood ducks every time i go and that is 10. Not too many other birds around here but i have killed pintail, shoveler, canvasback, mallard, wood duck, and hooded merganser. I have kill snow and canadian geese. Right now i'm getting the turkey mounted, some woodies all flying in about to light up coming out of the wall and two greater canadians.

Well I've killed Mallards, black ducks, gadwalls, buffleheads, canvasbacks, goldeneyes, mergansers common & hooded, oldsquaws, pintails, redheads, greater & lesser scaup, northern shovelers, widgeons, ruddy duck, wood duck, greenwing & bluewing teal and some kind of duck in texas that they call a tree duck. Also blues snows and canada geese. And a wierd cross bread duck that I have mounted in my offfice.

Mrs Brokfut has half sister in new orleans she has never met face to face. i could set up a trip for her to go there and i can go shoot da lil burds. could work out. Will see.

I've killed gadwalls, widgeon, green-winged teal, blue winged teal, cinammon teal, mallards, buffleheads, goldeneye, shoveler, scaup, pintails, ruddy duck, common mergansers, wood ducks, red-head, canada geese, snow geese, several Ross's geese, and one swan.
I finally got a decent lead on a good goose area in WY, I'll be back in the waterfowl game after taking a couple year sabatical. Nothing more pleasing than the solid "thump" that a goose makes hitting the ground.

I have been waterfowl hunting for five years. So far a have been fortunate enough to kill gadwall, mallards, wood duck, pintails, wigeon, blue-winged, green-winged and cinnamon teal, redheads, canvasbacks, golden-eye, scaup, ruddy, canadas and 3 swans. Oh yeh, I have also shot a couple of shovelers, but I try to keep that quiet.
You are ahead of me on bands MM, I have 4 bands that were all from mallard drakes. I am curious where you can shoot 10 wood ducks a day though?
