And?Apples don’t fall far from trees. I’d put down 500+ bucks that the denim loving Hanes is juiced.
If he’s truly going to qualify for the Olympic trials he will have to be in USA track and fields testing. If track is like other Olympic sports they have to know where you are and when you are going. They can drop a test on you at any minute and you have a certain amount of time to provide a sample or you’ll be suspended.Apples don’t fall far from trees. Not sure what the motivation is to run in jeans, but it’s great that kid has big goals. Hope he makes the Olympic qualifying time.As much as I despise his Dad, Hanes son smoked a helluva marathon time in a pair of jeans.
RFK works out in jeans too.Not sure what the motivation is to run in jeans, but it’s great that kid has big goals. Hope he makes the Olympic qualifying time.
Me too. If he passes the tests and qualifies, I could give a shit less who his Father is. mtmuleyNot sure what the motivation is to run in jeans, but it’s great that kid has big goals. Hope he makes the Olympic qualifying time.
Post-race interview, he said effectively it was about the mental side and not the technical side, but also that "they" would pay him like 100k, which he donated to the race cause (or something along those lines). He admitted he has a long way to go. There's a big difference between 2:30 and 2:12-13 it'll take to make the Olympics. All that being said, I hope so to. I like to see people set lofty goals and then hit them. Not sure what the motivation is to run in jeans, but it’s great that kid has big goals. Hope he makes the Olympic qualifying time.
He’ll be 30 seconds faster without the jeans.Post-race interview, he said effectively it was about the mental side and not the technical side, but also that "they" would pay him like 100k, which he donated to the race cause (or something along those lines). I mean. I would think he'd be at least 10-30 sec a mile faster, but what do I know? He’ll be 30 seconds faster without the jeans.
I can’t imagine the amount of rubbing sore the jeans create in a marathon. He must have rubbed his legs with chafing lube.I mean. I would think he'd be at least 10-30 sec a mile faster, but what do I know?
With that improvement he might get invited to the trials, but still not on the team.
I bet he wore thin tights under, otherwise he'd have been bleeding.I can’t imagine the amount of rubbing sore the jeans create in a marathon. He must have rubbed his legs with chafing lube.
