Hey Calif. Hunter, got a load for that smokepole yet ?

No, I think I'm still learning the ropes. SO far, I am leaning to a 348 gr Cabela's "Dead Center" sabot with 100 grains of Pyrodex. I'll try again this weekend, and mybe go up to 130 gr of powder with the same bullet and try some loads with 340 gr Powerbelt bullets, too. I'm runnin out of time.... I head to New Mexico on November 8.

When are you headed for New Mexico.
Have you setteled on a load for that front stuffer yet, what bullet are ya useing ?
I checked my cleaning stuff and the stuff I was useing to swab the bore between shots is called Thompson?Center "Old #13"

I had real good luck shooting the "No excuses" bullets, but you don't have enough time left to try them. Everybody has good things to say about the Powerbelt bullets.

Better get tuned up, times running out.
