Not a great picture, but I'll update Friday afternoon after punching some holes in the paper.

7mm WSM Model 70 Coyote Lite. Accurized by Gordy's Precision in Kansas City. Tally lightweight mounts, 3-9x40 Zeiss Conquest with hunting turrets and their hold over reticle(exact name escapes my simple mind).

Nice, she should really have her own account or Facebook page.

Follow me on twitter to stay up to date on her daily life. @dustinfeher

What contour is that barrel? Doesn't look like I'd want to be humping it around the contour lines of the map you posted.

It's a medium heavy. Not my first choice, but I didn't have the budget for a swap. I haven't weighed it yet, but feels about 8 pounds as is.

Dustin,

Nice set up. I've been saving my pennies for a while now with thoughts towards an M70 of some type. What all did you have done as far as accurizing? Looking forward to a range report...

I started with Gordy's basic accurization, and ended up with a couple extras. The internals of my trigger mechanism were polluted with rust. Also, I bought my scope rings through Gordy, so he could mount my scope as close to the barrel as possible.

A real 338 gopher getter.

A guy I shoot with on occasion is expecting one of these to arrive in a few days, and I can't wait to have a go with it.

It's a 338 Allen Magnum, 147 gr of powder and a 300 Berger will get him 3427fps, 1/3-1/2 MOA, and has exploded rocks at over 1700 yds.

The bottom photo compares a round to a 338 Lapua Mag

I'm sure most of you MT guys are familiar with Allen Precision. http://apsrifles.com/General_Price_List.html

Hello all. I made my first post in the Hogs and exotics section and was told to post up pics of my firepower here. These are the rifles I took on a Russian boar hunting trip I just got back from. My Sig Sauer 516 AR-15 and My Remington .300 WinMag. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use the AR on this hunting trip. They only allow .243 and up but the WM kick butt and was more than enough. Maybe to much lol!

This one also includes my Savage .17 HMR.

The .300 WM is equipped with A Leupold VX2 3-9X50mm scope.
The Sig 516 AR-15 is equipped with a gas operated piston system four position gas regulator and a Sig mini red dot which will be replaced with the Leupold VXR Hog scope soon.
The Savage .17 HMR is very accurate at 100 yards. It's a great rabbit/squirrel rifle.
The Winmag is a damn canon for sure. But without a doubt the AR-15 is the most fun to shoot. Can't wait to use it on a Helicopter hog hunt. That's going to be a blast.

This one is very fun to shoot. .444 Marlin, early 1990's model with the micro-groove barrel. I've only shot store bought loads through it so far, all jacketed bullets. But I plan on working up some heavier loads (~400 gr, cast lead) instead of the 260 gr Federals.

I added the Williams Peep Sight, and it's shooting pretty well from the bench. This is at 75 yards:

I love that cartridge and the rifle! The 300 grain Hornady XTP should be great elk medicine.
