O'Brien shrugged it off and moved on with the episode, but that was one of the most offensive things I have ever heard in a podcast.

I heard that one. I remember thinking about the hypocrisy of proclaiming all species equal to man, and in the same breath claim it is moral to modify their very being without consent.
That is called atrocity. Next you are talking about Final Solutions.

Those same people would neuter every hunter if it saved one chipmunk.
