Grandson gets it done!!

Had em sounding off on the roost at daybreak, set up but a yote decided to spoil the party. We stayed n called for a while w no luck. Got up to try somewhere else, got up n one sounded off a ways off. Sat back down n started yelping w answers every time. After a bit a hen came out in the field. 3 gobblers were sounding off but coming down the fence line in the brush. Another Tom snuck up behind us n we were able to spin around w the tripod n he busted him! First bird n bigger than Papa has ever gotten. Oldest grandson was happy but a bit jealous; broke his wrist on a scooter Friday so no shooting for him.

To tell u the truth, sad but no. My great grandfather gave it to my pops n I really never heard anything about it. I’ve had it for 20+ years when he gave it to me for my son to use, n now his sons use it!!
So I guess it’s currently making some history!!!

That's a great bird and awesome hunt! I've had two pretty epic scooter wrecks at my house in the last month hope the other boy heals up quick. Out of curiosity was it a electric scooter?
