Got my 2018 mulie back.

Got my buck back from taxidermist. I don’t mind waiting for quality!! I made the base he did the mount. I think it turned out awesome.

Side story on the buck, is hot it on the 11th of October, Wyoming general tag. But it didn’t have testicles, just a empty sack. The local warden said it had been a very dry summer and they had circumstances where deer drank from around oil wells and it dried up their testosterone. It was traveling with 4 other bucks one larger and the others smaller.

I thought I was seeing velvet. Perhaps was a case of non-descended testicles, or the deer variant of Kleinfelter's (XXY chromosome situation). I hope he was tasty.

Cool looking deer! Not sure I buy the oil wells having anything to do with the absent testes, but who knows. Regardless, great buck.

Yes, I wasn’t sure how long I needed it to be. I am going to cut around 6 to 8 inches off and then you shouldn’t see but a few inches of it, which I will hide with grass clump.
