It was a a good year of hunting for me. I was able to participate in the harvest of 12 elk, 5deer and an Idaho bull moose. Maybe Im starting to turn into one of those older cranky type hunters but it just seems that the level of hunter ethics falls each year or maybe I just spent too much time in the "idiot zone". I'll be ready to start fresh in 8 1/2 months though.

Finnished the season out in style helping out a couple buddies on Sun

Holy smokes, that is a GREAT year. Congrats.

I'm not sure if the ethics are falling or if the few % of doorknobs are just becoming more prevalent. Either way, I know what you're talking about.

Given the days you spend in the hills each year, you have a "Good year" every year. Congrats.

Phutch,

You know your duck hunting addiction will kick in. It ain't over, you just switch to a different species and style of hunting.

Another one of the tag fillers....slightly edited to protect this highly secret location. ...on to ducks and coyotes. LOL

One of my favorite pics of the yr.

Buddy, his 8yr old daughter, his girlfriend, her 12 and 13yr old daughters, her 10 yr old son and my 230lbs...oh yea and my buddys dog!, all crammed into this for a weekend excursion in SW MT. The 13yr old got her 2nd deer and 1st elk. The girlfriend got an elk too.

The neighbors usually give my house a weird look but this got them looking hard. I think they rode a wheelie all the way back to Billings

I wanted to devote as much time as I could to my sons hunting season this yr so I wasnt too picky during archery. Still I passed up 5 other bulls before this one tempted me with a 15 foot frontal shot while screaming at me. Should have been a 10yd recovery but he rolled down the hill. LOL

My buddy was feeling left out so heres his 47" ID moose I was lucky enough to get to tag along for....last pic ofr 2015.......unless I fill my late season cow tag
