Good stuff coming to the Springs....

I was driving home from Denver a few days ago and saw the construction of Bass Pro ramping up!! I am getting excited. It will only be about 10 minutes from my house and I can't wait. We have a Sportsmen's here as well but it is not my favorite, especially when it comes to guns and ammo. Can't wait to have one of the Big Guys right here!!

Granted, I have only been here 4 years but.....COS is by far the best place I have ever lived. I am a Hoosier through and through but, hopefully, I will never leave CO. The problems here are really minor compared to other cities this size and I am sorry to say that most of it is probably due to 4th ID being here now Pretty much anywhere you get a regular Army division you just can't escape the dirtbags.

I do buy a bit online ( am lucky enough to have some pro deals that I am in on) but I am a sale shopper at the big boxes as well. I got some insulated HO bibs from Cabelas for $19 just after the season.

There is a Cabela's a little over an hour from my house, and their "bargain cave" is the only reason I go.

Oh, and the gun library is also pretty cool.

I went to the Bass Pro in Denver on my way home to Montana from New Mexico. It was big and had a lot of stuff, but the prices weren't any different than the little store I go to here at home. mtmuley

Cabelas is also building a store at I-25 and 144th, north of Denver. It will be nice to have a store 13 miles from my house.

I'm 15min from the Lone Tree Store. Drove by yesterday to check out the progress. The roof is starting to go on.

My dads company bid on part of the BPS last year, so I've known about that one for some time. I don't really care for them though.
