Haven't been around the site much for the last 5 weeks, been gone fishn! A LOT! I keep my camper in SD for 6 weeks, and make as many trips as possible. I am blessed to have a family that all love to go and friends that I can do guy trips with as well. A buddy and my daughter both caught their personal best walleyes this year. This past weekend was my dad/daughter trip, what a blast, lots of giggles between her and I and my parents joined us as well. The three biggest were all released but we have eaten a pile of smaller ones and brought back what we can. Tons of fun! One more trip next week, then I need to get busy planning hunting trips and reloading.

Now that looks like fun! I've fished SD in the winter and had great luck catching walleyes, but have yet to make it there in the summer. Glad to see someone is out there enjoying it!

Nice. Glad the girls got in on the action too. What did you catch them on? (We normally use leeches and do very good).

Most are caught casting crankbaits in/over the weeds and a few on jig/plastic on hard bottom humps. My elbow is actually sore as hell, but I can't complain when I have "injuries" from fishing too much :D
