Yesterday I got some rough news. My boss -- the owner of the small company I work for, a friend for well over 10 years, a faithful member of our local church, a husband, and a father -- died yesterday in a tractor accident. We were talking just last week about big plans to expand the business and now I'm planning its dissolution. Life is short and tomorrow isn't guaranteed. Hug your loved ones today.

I’m sorry. Life truly is a vapor

Ironically I plan to teach on this tonight with the youth at church. It’s been coming up a lot lately. Things that used to seem like only old people talked about are in my thoughts and on my lips frequently now. Life is truly short, and tomorrow is not promised
