Idaho had a $99 million dollar budget surplus last year used to reduce the real estate taxes of land owners.

I have a better suggestion for Gov. Little for this year’s surplus.

The state owns other lands used for timber sales. Add 60k acres to the land total.

Last time IDL tried to buy a bunch of land farmers and timber companies got pissed and complained
