A few months back a new Waylon album was released from previously unknown recordings that had been discovered , so this is literally one from the vault . Waylon Jennings singing the classic Fleetwood Mac song Songbird. What a special gift to Waylon fans

The songwriter and singer were not fluent in English, so she sang the lyric sheet exactly as written, “godness on a mountain top”. Later covers by other bands changed it to “goddess”

This Australian band made waves with this hit song in 1967. It reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100, but "I'm a Believer" by the Monkees, kept the song from number one, name the singer.
