Toy Caldwell… enlists with the Marines, gets wounded in Vietnam (and then goes back for more), then comes home and does that. Legend.

I remember hearing that song in high school and going to buy a Marshall Tucker greatest hits cd. I couldn’t wait to get home and give it a listen. Turns out that’s really the only song of theirs that is anything like that one.

One of the few songs, maybe 2, that Toy sang for MTB.

Scaggs is the consummate pro, he’s my cardio channel staple. Jazz, blues, torch…an unmistakable one of.

Toy sang quite a few songs early on. This old cowboy, blue ridge mountain sky, hillbilly band, and more. Don't think his voice could hold up doing so many shows per year.
