Finding out he had pancreatic cancer and only a short amount of time left moved Ben Bullington to quit his job as a Dr. in White Sulphur Springs and play and write as much music as he could with the time he had left. Many years ago, I was driving through the night from Missoula to Clancy when I heard him interview and play live music on MT NPR, and I found a whole pile of music I have enjoyed for many years. Been gone for 9 years.

He was a great story teller and incorporated Montana Geography into many of his songs.
