Friday Lamentations Tunes

Wow, you fellows really know how to pull at the heart strings of an old woman heart---wonderful tunes

( also, please excuse any typos as I seem to be struggling a bit today --maybe I just need more wine OR perhaps have had too much ;))

Ken--Thank you so much sir for making a post for me and it is so true throughout life. "Send in the clowns,--dont bother they are here"--and also thank you for Number 10

44hunter45--thank you as well sir for 2 and 64

elk duds, ----- thank you sir for 52 and as per our recent conversation, what a time it was to be in L.A. and Orange county'. Jackson, James, Linda, Joni, Don, Glen, Neil, Gram, others. Kris sang a song and introduced Linda, she sang a song and they set down with everybody else and had a drink while the next "want-to- be' sang. Great times, great memories, some are gone now and others can no longer sing. But the memories will forever be firmly pressed between the pages of my mind.

Bighornram--and thank you sir . I enjoy Suzy,s rendition of that tune--and of course it hits home. "put me on a highway, take it to the limit, one more time" -----PLEASE ! ;) and also 72, thank you

There are so many and you gentlemen have already played some very good ones. Maybe--

Mary Hopkins, those were the days.

Tim MaCraw, Back When. Listen to the words and I will bet several here can relate to the words, I certainly can.

Brooks and Dunn, Red Dirt Road hits pretty close to home

But if one of you gentlemen are in a generous mood, I will request the following two

Barbra Mandrell. I was country when country wasn't cool. That song fits me to a "T"

And this one was played at my husband funeral. I had also played it several times for/to him before his death, and I meant every word.

Lou Rawls Wind Beneath My Wings " Did I ever tell you, you are my hero. Your everything I wish I could be. I can fly higher than an eagle. For you are the wind beneath my wings."

Thank you gentlemen

She took the kitchen table, but she still was able to leave the bills on the floor.
