I know you guys have been waiting for my opinion on this! 
Regarding the age of a politician. Who gives a dam? I could argue that young politicians don’t have life experience all day but I could argue that old politicians have already made up their minds and are set in their way so experience doesn’t matter. I want a person, I don’t care if they are R, D, or Independent who will listen to the concerns of their constituents, listen to the people who are more educated then them on a subject, research the issue for themselves and finally work with all the parties involved to come up with a solution that may not be perfect for one individual or another but that everyone can live with.

How about a bill in 2027 that says we have the freedom to corner cross if we are carrying a flag? It will be lighter than a ladder.

See - thats where it all breaks down, for me.
Suppose you have a well said argument and fact founded argument from both sides - how does someone, without some life experience, see things for what they are?
For example - Elk can be a detriment to some farming - and there needs to be population management. What is in place - isnt working. We need more tags!
Facts with a proposed solution can be convincing to someone whos not been sold snake oil before. Who knows though - maybe the youth would be a little more principled to carry that bill, considering elk are below low population objectives in the area Loge is "representing"

There's an aspect of this I agree with, insofar as I think of my 19 year old self and shudder to think of the hubris I'd need to engage in to think I have meaningful insight into governance. I also just increasingly think few things could be worse for a young person than to get involved in politics - to make it a part of your identity publicly. It's related to the phenomenon I see all around me and in the world online - where individuals can only make predictions or claims that never come to fruition for so long, until continuing to believe in those predictions or claims requires that individual to be far more radicalized than they were when they initially made those predictions or claims. Politics increasingly demands fealty to continuing to believe and claim despite the outcomes, and to divide the world in two.
On the other hand, the boomers on my social media feeds don't lend themselves to the theory of Wisdom With Age - and seem to be the most gullible amongst us. I wish Mr. Warden well in politics. Perhaps it's not an age thing, and I think politics is just rough on anyone's soul.

I would bet this young man won't be asked for any meaningful insight into governance. He will be told how to vote. He's getting in on the ground floor of new career so if he wants a future he will vote that way.
I could easily make the argument that at least he will be able to research ideas on the internet and AI will give him the pros and cons. The amount of dumb-shit bills from the gray hairs certainly isn't lacking in Montana, so I don't think they can take the high ground on experience equalling intelligence.

Lol well often - issues, especially wildlife, arent always left or right idealogically.
Mostly just by sponsorship, special interest, and self benefit.

Compromise always sounds great until everyone realizes they are unhappy with the agreement in some way and one side gets enough power to change it in their favor. Political groups simply rotate through stages that look a lot like the seven deadly sins.

The number of stupid bills that were brought last session by some of the youth were at the behest of older legislators, I think just to see if they’d actually be gullible enough to carry them. Total waste of time. I’m old, don’t see the humor, and certainly becoming aware that time isn’t on my side.

I think too many bills are brought that help a very few, select people, even if they are not transparently bad. Think “Come Home to Hunt” sometimes I think the person just wants to go back and say “Sorry. I tried” Btw, always wondered if this was the case about HB 124.

While I do actually agree with most of what you're saying, I think it begs a bit more introspection...
I would say that it's "common" sense to be able to send articulate thoughts and ideas in emails to people, file my taxes online, set up a wifi router with a non-hackable password, and tabulate simple financial data in excel for analysis, but damn if most people over 60 can't handle that. I find far too many people whose version of common sense is closer to historic accounts or, even worse, idiotic sense.
