We've already been discussing the Senator Lee proposal and what it means. This morning Marcus and I recorded this video for Fresh Tracks Weekly.
I find it worthy to note that Lee has added language that gives priority to land sales that help eliminate the checkerboard. That starts at about 7:20 in the video. Is it coincidence that Lee lives in the 10th Circuit where corner crossing in the checkerboard is now legal? This is the first time that issue has ever come up in any Federal legislation I've ever read. Lee's sudden concern over the checkerboard is a bit strange. Or, maybe not, depending upon who he's speaking for.
