It’s funny to me how many posts are on this thread doing nothing but complaining. Complaints about QSB, complainers, whiners, sissy’s, and other terms. Yet all I’m hearing is whining from these critics.

I’ve had enough of the BS. Majority of people throwing rocks here live in a glass house.

I don’t necessarily like the removal of a like button but I don’t intend to loose any sleep over it.

I’m here to talk hunting and outdoors.

I've always felt I've been on the fringes of this website not living in a western state, just one antelope hunt and so far only one western bird hunt (forever grateful to @Bullshot) and not having the experiences or knowledge to share/contribute.

I enjoy reading about everyone's adventures, most of which I'll never probably partake in, and had no more to contribute that a like to acknowledge what they shared. I don't know how to add more to a conversation that's camp pics, sunsets/sunrises, as they lay, fish pics, etc than a simple like.

Thank you all for the likes on posts, and for all you've shared.

I'm not leaving but today I have one less way of showing a simple thank you for what you've shared. Personally that saddens me just a little. Take care all.

Some of us have invested upwards of 20 years. The "like" button may be trivial, but it's a way to support members who I know personally and members I identify with after years of exchange. I can think of probably 30 guys who I've never met, but who I know. I support them due to their contributions over years. It's a community of members who mostly appreciate each other .
If you stay, eventually you might appreciate this point of view.

Thanks Birdbander. I’m with you and would’ve liked the comment if not the need for it. I am also one of those who rightly or wrongly felt a bit of a personal connection with an appropriate and well timed “like”, given or received. I tried to like one of @TOGIE’s posts earlier before I figure out what happened. This will take some getting used to, and I don’t “like” it.

I want to just type like because I really support this post but I just this more long drawn detailed post is what BigFin now wants? This is BS

Besides the redundant posts of agreement and the extra “nice bull” posts on hunt stories, anyone have a guess on how this will change posting behavior? I can’t picture this changing how people post all that much. My guess is that the sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, waistoids, dweebies, dickheads, and even the righteous dudes will go on posting as such and be recognized as such. The lack of a like button doesn’t seem like a big deal.

Agreed. I’ve tried to hit the like button several times, on this thread, out of habit. I’ve made several friends on this site. Some that I’ve met in person. Some that I PM or text with regularly. I admit that I enjoy when friends like my posts. Silly, I know.

Good post. Lots of guys here that I’ve never met that I feel like I know—you being one of them, Hem. Now I’ll just have to take the time to voice my appreciation for posts like that and guys like you, instead of just hitting “like.” I’m good with that.

Is it not an absolutely 110% undeniable fact that anybody threatening a lawsuit to a hunting forum over heart feelings, pain and suffering, is clearly worthy of the QSB name?

Sorry I’m not reading back through all the other posts; did someone really do that?
