I have no ill feelings towards Roger’s the football player. He would have been fun to watch whomever the team he was playing for in his prime. Although, It was most funner to watch him as a Packer.

He WAS a great player.l, unquestionably.
He deserves and will be a first round Hall of Famer. But his diva quotient was way too high for me and cost him a lot of fans (and probably endirsement money).

As a Viking fan, there is a certain rivalry with the Packers. I did not mind at the time Favre playing for the Vikings. I would not have felt the same about Rogers.

Favre and Rogers are forever intertwined. It is only fitting that Favre's last pass was an interception. Rogers did him one better, with a pick six.

I think after last night, Rogers has had enough. He got the snot knocked out of him. The Texan's defense is damn impressive, not so much their offense.

I don’t think Roger’s will sail off into the sunset. Hes only going to entertain offers from teams that he thinks need one or 2 pieces to be a contender. He still believes he gives teams the best chance to win as a qb and will until teams won’t sign him anymore. He will draw this out as long as possible, just like he has done in the past. I hope for the sake of the teams he says he’d considered they say “thanks, but no thanks.” Or at the very most say “here’s our offer, decide by this day or we are out.”

I think his smugness, thinking he was always the smartest person in the room, is where he lost his way.
